The New Jersey State Archives (NJSA) Project to process, conserve, index, and digitize New Jersey’s earliest land records is a multi-year project and is well underway.

The NJSA regularly adds the processed documents and updated indexes to the their existing database of Early Land Records. All work on the Project is being integrated into this database.

Some collections (such as the Nevil Deed A book) have been indexed and digitized and scans are now online. Others collections are still in various stages of processing, indexing, and scanning.

All indexes and scans are added to the database as they are completed and the database is being continually updated. So, if you don’t see what you need now, check back in the future!
